S.Pook
A slightly plimsolly smell engaged me
And reminded me of Spook
Took me back to the cloakroom
And those plimsolls that I took
But - I Saw your name - written on the lining
And guilt flooded through my veins
It's spooky when you think it's still there
When something solid comes out the air
I went back to that cloakroom
And put your plimsolls back
Had to get up early next morning
And find their guilty rack
Cause - when I saw your name written on the lining
The guilt flooded to my face
Oh it's spooky when you think it's still there
Something solid comes out the air
My action was reactive
Someone had taken mine
I would've passed that bad bad feeling
Further down the line
Thinking back to the cloakroom
And those plimsolls that I took
I wonder what could have happened
If I hadn't really looked
If I didn't see your name
Written in the lining
And no guilt flooded through my veins
Oh you know it's spooky when I think how it went
I could have been completely bent
But your name accused me
Told me - I was wrong
